We're Sanaz and Jon Huber — parents, entrepreneurs, travelers and
big believers in creating a life our kids get to experience alongside
us.
Upward started with something we were craving in our own lives:
community. Not networking. Not another business event. Not
another vacation where you come home needing a vacation.
We wanted to surround our family with people who were building
extraordinary lives, but who also understood that success is about
so much more than what you build professionally.
We want our kids growing up alongside other kids who dream big,
experience the world and understand there are many different ways to create an incredible life.
We want parents to have people they can call when they're navigating a challenge, considering a big move, building
something new — or simply need someone who gets it.
We want families celebrating wins together. Traveling together. Learning from one another. And showing our kids what community really looks like.
It's about the people you become.
The marriage you're building.
The children you're raising.
The friendships you invest in.
The experiences you say yes to.
And the memories you create along the way.
Why We Started Upward
Why We Started Upward
Why We Started Upward
As entrepreneurs and parents, we kept seeing the same thing. There were incredible rooms for business growth. There were incredible family vacations. But there weren't enough experiences
that truly brought the two worlds together.
So we started creating what we wanted for our own family. A place where adults could have meaningful conversations and challenge one another. Where kids weren't simply tagging along — they were
part of the experience. Where families could explore incredible places together. And where the relationships didn't end when everyone checked out of the hotel.

We Want Our Kids In the Room.
Our children are growing up watching everything we do. They're listening to our conversations. Watching how we treat people. Seeing what we prioritize. Learning what success looks like from us.
So instead of separating our personal growth from our family life, we started asking a different question: what if we brought our kids along for the journey?
What if they grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs, creators, leaders, adventurers and other kids being raised to think bigger? What if some of their greatest lessons came from the people
sitting around the dinner table?
That's a big part of what Upward is about. Giving our children a village, too.

Travel has always been a huge part of our family's life. But for us, the destination is only part of the story.

Travel has always been a huge part of our family's life. But for us, the destination is only part of the story.
It's what happens when you step outside what's familiar. The
conversations. The curiosity. The adventure. The mistakes. The
laughter. The people you meet. The perspective our kids gain from
seeing that the world is much bigger than their own backyard.
Those experiences have shaped our family — and they're a huge
part of what inspired Upward. We want to create opportunities for
families to experience more of the world together.

Not Someday. Now.
Why "The Village It Takes"?
Why "The Village It Takes"?
Why "The Village It Takes"?
We've all heard that it takes a village to raise a child. We kept
coming back to that idea — because the older we've gotten, the
more we've realized the adults need the village too.

We need:
People who challenge us

People who celebrate our wins

People who tell us what we need to hear

People we can laugh with, travel with and call when life gets complicated

Our vision for Upward goes beyond a single mastermind.
We're building a community where families can:
Our vision for Upward goes beyond a single mastermind.
We're building a community where families can:
Grow together
Learn from one another
Expose their kids to new ideas
Celebrate life's biggest moments together
Travel together
Build lifelong friendships
Create bucket-list experiences
And hopefully, years from now, our kids will look back and realize something: they didn't just grow up with great experiences. They grew up with a village.
This isn't about having the biggest business or the biggest bank account. It's about how you show up.

From Our Family to Yours.
From Our Family to Yours.
From Our Family to Yours.
We're still building. Still learning. Still exploring. Still trying to figure out
this crazy adventure of business, marriage, parenting and life just like
everyone else.
But one thing we know for sure: who you surround yourself with matters.
So we're being intentional about it. For ourselves. For our kids. And for the
families who choose to join us.
Most personal-development experiences are designed for adults.
Most family vacations are designed around entertainment. We wanted both.
Upward creates experiences where growth and adventure live side by side. Parents have conversations that challenge them. Kids learn, connect and build confidence. Families explore together.
And everyone gets to have some fun along the way.
